Datso Gallery is one of the best photo gallery component for Joomla. It supports multiple languages and have lot of features. But one of them is missing: a thumbnails scroller module.

So I just look at the module that comes with XcGal for Xoops and adapt the Datso Gallery Thumbnails module to support the scrolling of 5 differents random thumbnails from the database.

The modification is simple, you just have to add a HTML container and insert a javascript code that starts the animation of the 5 extracted thumbnails.

 To personalize a little bit (if really needed). Edit the file mod_snx_scroller_datsogallery.php and look for the string: "PERSONALIZE YOU MODULE".
